Several boys threw rocks at a beehive in a tree on school grounds, hitting the Queen bee. In response, swarms of angry male bees attacked not just the boys but also innocent passersby. Dozens were stung on the head by the bees. With no immediate medical treatment available in the hot afternoon, a chemical reaction occurred in the brains of the boys. They enjoyed being attacked by the bees until late evening. The next morning, one of the victim boys died, though it was unclear if he was innocent or guilty in the initial rock throwing.
