The essence of all scriptures, and spiritual discourses is one and the same and that is to get the ‘awareness and the knowledge of Self’. The ‘main Self’ is shuddha (verily pure), but one has the wrong belief of “who am I”? This wrong belief of 'I am Chandu' (reader should use his name) has given rise to the prakruti (nature and characteristics of a person). There are only two things in the world, non-living (jadd) and living (chetan). The two have always been distinct and different, but a mix of both has led to the visheshbhaav of “I am Chandubhai” which contradicts the basics of Self-realization, which is “I am the Self/soul”.
Published in this book is the speech of the Gnani Purush (The enlightened one) of Akram Vignan (spiritual science) who came to be known to the world as Dadashri (master of spiritual science). He has explained the root cause of pakruti. He has also discussed the eight types of karmas.
This book is an eye-opener to the science of prakruti and karmas.

“Aptavani 6” is the sixth in a series of spiritual books titled “Aptavani”. In this series, Gnani Purush (embodiment of Self knowledge) Dada Bhagwan addresses age-old unanswered questions of spiritual seekers.
Dadashri offers in-depth answers to the urgent questions of: “What is the cause of life problems?”, “I experience so much internal struggle while facing problems – teach me how to get inner peace?”, “What is peace of mind, and how can I attain it?”, “I have so many problems in everyday life, my life feels like the very definition of injustice – help me understand how to live?!”
Dadashri explains that, from understanding “Who am I?” and attaining knowledge of Self, a foundation of spirituality opens up within. From this spiritual awakening, a newfound ability to face life problems arises. One begins to experience inner equanimity and peace of mind – regardless of any problems in everyday life.

What is celibacy? Is it possible to practice celibacy without controlling sexual impulses?
Yes!
When you do not participate in or encourage sexuality through the mind, speech and body that is celibacy. It does not matter if you are married or not. For those who want to understand and learn how to be celibate, this unique new vision of the Gnani Purush becomes the exclusive and guaranteed key.
One should have a deep inner intent to practice celibacy and should ask for strength from God to practice celibacy with the mind, speech and body.
Instead of controlling the mind, find out the causes that trap your mind in sexual desires and immediately cut off the link with them.
Analyze the pros of celibacy and the cons of sexuality.
Param Pujya Dadashri says, “One begins to be free of the disease (of the sex), from the moment he or she opposes sex.” Repent for any sexual thoughts, desires and gestures that occur in the mind, the speech and the body. This is a stepping stone towards celibacy.
For married people, taking a vow of celibacy with mutual understanding or ensuring sexual loyalty is considered celibacy in this era.
Rather than mere suppression, celibacy should be practiced with right understanding. Param Pujya Dadashri has given practically applicable keys on celibacy in the book, “Brahmacharya: Celibacy with Understanding”. He has explained the consequences of illicit sex, the benefits of practicing celibacy, as well as how to be celibate in everyday life.
