Beachgrounds Park in South Hadley, Massachusetts was designed by Stantec and Banwell Architects and constructed in 2009 with $824,200. The park renovations on the banks of the Connecticut River included retaining maple trees for shade, adding bleachers and a backstop, playground equipment and rubber mulch, stairs and ramp from the parking lot, a picnic pergola near the renovated bathrooms, a spray park and more playground equipment, and black vinyl fencing and gates, with views from the picnic area to the playground.
