company. Gordon’s Estate Services specializes in serving the unique needs of people who are going
through life transitions, such as downsizing or estate settlement. Their service includes the efficient
sale of real estate, careful handling of assets, and a suite of other services to manage the entire
transition.
Barry has been a Transition Specialist for the past 20 years and a REALTOR® since 1978. He has
recently added to his expertise by becoming an Accredited Senior Agent and Senior Real Estate
Specialist. Barry is regarded as a leader in the field of downsizing and estate transitions for seniors
and is a sought after speaker and educator. In 1991, he wrote and taught “Certified Estate Specialist”,
the first course in the area of estate transitions and has recently obtained an exclusive contract to
teach the Certified Relocation & Transition Specialist (CRTS™) course in Canada. Barry’s team now
teaches the CRTS™ course several times per year.
Barry is a Paul Harris Fellow, named for his community involvement and 15 year career in Municipal
government as a reeve and councillor. Barry and his wife Alicia have 3 grown children.
