Barry McGuigan was born in Monaghan, Ireland in 1961 and is considered one of the best Irish boxers, nicknamed the "Clones Cyclone". As a featherweight boxer, he had a career between 1981 and 1987, retiring after the death of his father in 1987, with a record of 32 wins and 3 losses, winning 28 by knockout. He now lives in Whistable, Kent and serves as President of the Professional Boxing Association.
