Final, ratified version of the "Barcelona Principles" on PR measurement -- the industry's first global standards for measuring public relations. The Barcelona Principles were initially presented June 17, 2010 at the 2nd European Summit on PR Measurement, hosted by AMEC and the Institute for Public Relations. The principles were ratified by more than 200 delegates from 33 countries, in concert with five leading public relations and research associations -- AMEC, IPR, PRSA, ICCO and the Global Alliance. The principles were then modified after a comment and consultation period, and published July 22, 2010.
