The Bangladesh Tennis Federation was established in 1972 to develop tennis in Bangladesh. It runs a national tennis center with 8 courts and oversees junior development programs. These programs include a junior tennis initiative that is increasing participation, coaching certification workshops, and prize money tournaments. Additionally, the Bangladesh government has funded a large "Root Level Talent Hunting Programme" focused on introducing tennis to new youth players across the country, with the goal of promoting tennis development at the grassroots level.
