This document summarizes the bamboo bike initiative in Bayawan City, Philippines between 2014-2015. It describes (1) training local residents in bamboo bike building and establishing a bamboo shop; (2) partnering with local government and other organizations to provide mentorship, financial support, and promote the initiative; and (3) accomplishments including building various bamboo bike models, generating income for student builders, and participating in exhibits to promote bamboo craftsmanship.
