The students present their balloon rocket experiment. They made two balloon rockets to race by tying string between two chairs and attaching a balloon and straw to the string. One group made signs while another created a presentation to explain how the escaping air from the balloons propels them forward along the string to race and determine a winner. All students contributed to the experiment and presentation.

5. How did we make it? Step 1: First we got the sheet and started making a list of materials that we would need to do our experiment Step 2: we started gathering the things we would need (eventually getting the balloons ) Step 3: Then we tied the string to the two chairs to make a type of track for our racing balloons Step 4: Sarah and Katie made the start and finish signs while Tom and I made this power point We are now presenting our Balloon rockets

6. How does it work? The air escaping from the balloon, propels it forward while the straw guides it along the string We prepared two of them so we can see which one wins
