IMPLEMENTATION BASED ON AUTOMATION TOLLGATE
Environment : RSSI-Received Signal Strength Indication.
Role : Assembly, Parts Fitting and project demonstration.
Description : In our project, once the end user (motorist) comes to chargeable
zone; the Zigbee transceiver receives the signal that the vehicle has entered the
chargeable zone in particular LANE, then automatically the unique id of the
motorist (Vehicle ID) will be read from the board which has been attached to
every vehicle and collects the daily road pricing charge. Also the main
components are ZIGBEE transceiver, PIC controller, ARM processor. In vehicle
end PIC controller is connected to the Zigbee transceiver, in toll end ARM
processor will be connected to Zigbee transceiver with interface of TCP/IP
server to process the transaction. The main advantages of this project is to avoid
traffic in tollgate, user don’t want to wait in lane to pay toll fee.
