This document discusses water management strategies for permanent shelters for tribes in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands after the 2004 tsunami. The tsunami, caused by a magnitude 9.0 earthquake in the Indian Ocean, killed over 283,100 people according to US reports, including many tribespeople from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
