8, March 3 2005, of the Annual
Vacation Law).
• Market practice often exceeds the
statutory minimum number of days.
Carry forward rules
Unused annual vacation at year end up to
the mandatory minimum may be carried
forward or cancelled* but may not be
redeemed for payment before termination.
Unused annual vacation at year end in
excess of the mandatory minimum may be
carried forward, redeemed for payment or
cancelled*.
All unused vacation at termination will be
redeemed for payment.
