BACKEND DEVELOPERS, RUBY
WE ARE HIRING
The world’s most innovative event platform
At its core, Billetto is a self-service ticketing platform. We aim to make it really easy for organisers to
create events and sell their tickets online. We’re also an event community where people discover local
events and follow their favourite organisers and venues.
We’re at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence research and application. Our skilled data engineers
empower event organisers and ticket buyers by - among other things - delivering personalised event
recommendations and forecasting ticket sales.
In other words, we’re taking on the dinosaur ticketing industry by bringing artists and audiences closer
together. We believe passionately in the power of events to change attitudes, lives, and - ultimately - the
world. Life revolves around moments.
Here at Billetto, we seek to inspire everybody to do more of what makes them happy.
The job
Building new features all across the Billetto
platform
You’ll get the opportunity to work with all aspects
of running our business on the backend level. That
includes building new features and maintaining
old ones. The areas we are focusing on right now
are our API, ordering process, and visualisation -
but we don’t assign different parts to specific
people; our developers work across the entire
platform.
In this role, you’ll get to work with:
● Ruby, Ruby on Rails
● TDD / BDD
● Git/Github/Pull Requests
● API development
● Cloud Hosting (EngineYard,
Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, etc.)
● High Traffic Websites
● Caching

Will automated

Getting people off the couch

● Festivals
● MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions)
● Racing
We seek to disrupt the “old guard” of ticketing by reducing fees and introducing innovative tech. Our

other tools that help to grow and connect strongly with audiences.
Our current number of Enterprise customers (10-15) is expected to double within six months.
