It allows users to post free classified ads for jobs, housing, items for sale, services, and more. While moderated primarily by community members, Craigslist focuses on transactions for housing and jobs. Though a simple site design makes navigation easy, Craigslist has faced some controversies including scams, prostitution, and even a murder linked to its personal ads section.
