Autumn is fast approaching further north, but in sunny Jacksonville, summer reigns supreme! In
spite of our warm weather, it is time to think about the Harvest is Plentiful (Workers are few) Art
Show opening Wednesday, October 2 in the Children's Building Grand Lobby. Our inspiration is
found in Matthew 9:37, Luke 10:2 "and he (Jesus) said to them, 'the harvest is plentiful, but the
workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore to send out workers into his harvest fields.'"
We hope inspiration for this show comes from at least two directions:
a. ) Beauty of autumn and thankfulness for all God provides
b. ) Missions and Christ's call to share the gospel
In addition to our regular media (pencil, pen and ink, paint, pastel, print, mixed media, etc) this show
will highlight photography. We can't wait to see where your creativity leads! The attached form has
