Augmented.EDU is an interactive design studio that aims to transform passive TV viewing into active participation through augmented reality. The studio developed AugmentedTV in 2007 to combine TV shows and computer games. They received funding to explore synergies between TV, games, virtual environments, and interaction. Their new project, Augmented.EDU, envisions an educational game that connects learning content and motivating gameplay in a more engaging way than traditional serious games.
