4.  Athlete's foot (also known as ringworm of the
foot,tinea pedis, and moccasin foot) is
a fungal infection of the skin that causes
scaling, flaking, and itch of affected areas,
and in severe cases, swelling and amputation
of the foot.

6.  Thrives in thick, tight shoes that
squeeze the toes together and
create warm, moist area between
them.
 Damp shocks and shoes and warm,
humid conditions supports the
organism growth.

7.  Ringworm(athlete’s foot) can spread easily
from one person to another. You can catch
ringworm if you
1. touch someone who has the infection.
2. contact with items contaminated by the
fungus,
i. such as combs,
ii. unwashed clothing, and shower or pool
surfaces.
iii. You can also catch ringworm from pets that
carry the fungus. Cats are common carriers.

10.  Don’t share towels and shoes,
 Change shocks and stoking
regularly. If your feet sweat a lot,
change your shocks twice a day
to prevent fluid accumulation.
 Clean your both feet regularly
with warm water.

11.  Clotrimazole powder
 Miconazole cream

12.  WASH-regularly with warm water and mild
soap,
 DRY-dry feet well especially between toes,
 POWDER-to maintain dryness on feet and it
foot wear,
 INSPECT-for cuts, infections,
 NAIL CARE-cut them regularly to keep them
short and smooth,
 CLEAN SOCKS-change regularly if needed.
