The study evaluated 35 patients using electrodermal screening (EDS) to detect allergies and compared the results to serum testing. EDS works by measuring the electrical conductance at acupuncture points, which varies with organ health. 25 patients received an EDS-generated remedy based on their results, 5 received a placebo, and 5 were controls. The EDS results correctly identified 90% of the allergies detected by serum testing in the patients receiving the EDS-generated remedy, while the placebo and control groups showed less than a 1% change in symptoms. The study demonstrates EDS's capability for detecting IgE allergies comparable to standard serum testing methods.
