This document provides guidelines for a group assignment to visit and report on a historical site in Malaysia. Students must choose from topics on Malay, Islamic, Indian, Chinese or pre-historic civilizations. The report should be 15-20 pages following a specified format and include an acknowledgement, table of contents, introduction, objectives, research findings, travel journal, conclusion and appendix. Students must submit their group report and a video on the historical site by the 6th week. It is the students' responsibility to submit on time and ensure safety during site visits. Failure to submit will result in failing the module.

Group Assignment
HISTORICAL SITE VISIT
Requirement: Report (30 marks)
Instruction:
1. Students are required to provide a group report and make a video on historical sites in
Malaysia.
2. The assignment must be submitted through email to respective lecturers in Week 6. Please
get your lecturer’s email address from the website MOOC TITAS - TAYLOR'S.
3. The topics are:
i. Malay Civilization
ii. Islamic Civilization
iii. Indian civilization
iv. Chinese civilization
v. Pre-historic period of Malaysia
Instruction for Writing Report (20 marks):
1. Choose ONE historical site of the above topics that you want to study.
2. The location could be historical sites, historical buildings or any historical religious monuments.
2. Every report must have the following:
i. Acknowledgments
ii. Table of content
iii. Introduction
iv. Objectives of the Study
v. Research Findings (Material used, measurement, style or art / architecture, etc.)
vi. Travel journal
vii. Conclusion (What you have learnt) – (teamwork, leadership, tolerance, etc.)
viii. Appendixes (photos, attachments, etc.)
4. Format: Arial – Size: 11.
5. Pages: 15 to 20 pages excluding appendixes.
5. Your group photos at the historical site is compulsory

General instruction:
1. It is the student's responsibility to make sure the report is submitted to the respective lecturer.
2. If there are any questions regarding this assignment, please contact your respective lecturer.
We also will provide a podcast to answer any questions on this assignment.
3. It is the students’ responsibility to ensure their safety during their visits to the historical sites.
4. Late submission is NOT acceptable. If there is any problem, please consult your respective
lecturer.
5. Failure to submit the assignment will be subjected to fail the module.
