2. Chris Hart, the current
Manager of Real Groovy,
opened, what was then, a
small music retail store in
Ponsonby in 1981.
3. In 1990 Chris decided to expand
the shop, so he sold the small
shop in Ponsonby and moved into
a larger store on Queen Street,
Auckland.
In 1999 Chris and the Real Groovy
team bought a store in
Wellington. Later on they also
bought Echo Music in
Christchurch and Dunedin and
turned them into Real Groovy
stores as well.
4. One good thing about Real Groovy is that
