 The |University of Najran has an internal
mandate to monitor and track its inventory
accurately, this includes people or vehicles,
hereinafter assets, across all its
Buildings/campus nationwide
 Substantial loss of capital regarding
shrinkage with valuable assets throughout the
university campuses.
 Averaging 5% of monthly purchases
 2009 purchasing total was just above 100 M
riyals.
Inability to track accurately the asset
conditions and status in restricted areas.
Large discrepancies between IT database
and actual situation

Ministry of Education guidelines for inventory
