The scandal of the Cross in Chesterton's Romance of OrthodoxyLuke-Czajka
Chesterton's discussion of Jesus' cry from the cross in "Romance of Orthodoxy" can be read on two levels - exoterically and esoterically. Exoterically, Chesterton states that God only "seemed to be an atheist" for a moment. However, esoterically there is an unspoken suggestion that God himself experienced doubt. This esoteric reading is supported by the political/religious context requiring cautious writing, and apparent contradictions in Chesterton's text. The cry from the cross is interpreted differently by philosophers like Žižek and mystics like John of the Cross, relating it respectively to atheism or the "dark night of the soul" spiritual experience.
The document outlines key takeaways from a design thinking course, including that creativity benefits from ongoing training, prototyping and learning from mistakes helps success, and getting feedback from others is valuable. It also shares a process map for design thinking, starting with defining a problem, brainstorming ideas, prototyping solutions, getting feedback, and improving the prototype. Finally, it discusses applying the skills to the workplace by encouraging participation, creating creative workspaces, holding informal meetings, and implementing a project using design thinking.
Each year 1to1 Media selects 12 executives as 1to1 Media Customer Champions -- customer-centric leaders who understand that engaged customers make a positive bottom-line impact. They're innovative, determined, and creative leaders who treat customers as the valuable resource they are.
The document proposes several ideas to help university students gain more practical work experience such as programs that combine university studies with job programs, companies creating their own universities, more job fairs, and internship programs with big companies. It also suggests creating a special city focused on research that would provide many jobs for young people with new ideas.

Improving the listening experience through context-aware discovery. (July 2013) - Download the 'Putting Music in Context' whitepaper for free at http://www.arguslabs.be
This document discusses context-aware mobile advertising and how it can be used to create real-time engagement. It notes that with the rise of wearables, connected devices and smartphones, there are now many sensors that can provide contextual data. Traditional mobile advertising relies on explicit user signals, while context-aware advertising uses implicit signals learned from sensors. This allows for richer and more accurate user profiles. The document describes Argus Labs' platform which uses sensors and deep learning to perform near real-time contextualization and behavioral profiling of mobile users. This can help advertisers better target ads based on factors like location, activity, and mood.
Mobile Sensor Data, Machine Learning and Context (Strata 2014)Argus Labs
Sensors are everywhere, and context detection can improve almost any service, from media recommendations and advertising, to mobility management and mHealth. These two use cases show what mobile sensor data and machine learning can do to help make technologies more 'smart' and context-aware.
Presented at Strata Hadoop Barcelona, Internet of Things track, November 2014
Digital Marketing First 2014 - Context Aware Computing and Cross Channel Pers...Argus Labs
The document discusses context-aware computing and how Argus Labs is addressing it. Argus Labs has created a sensor fusion platform that can understand context, behavior, and mood using deep learning. It can profile users based on sensors to understand habits and predict human behavior. Argus Labs is applying this across industries like insurance, healthcare, advertising, and more to engage users based on their context in a personalized manner.
Argus Labs' technology renders mobile devices into sensing, intelligent and feeling devices. Learn how this revolution has started and what the near future holds. Already today...
Customer Experience is a brand’s differentiator. It can mean the difference between a loyal customer and one who deflects in search of a relevant, personalized experience. Here, 1to1 Media and SurveyMonkey surveyed 504 consumers to learn how critical customer experience is when interacting with a brand.

2. Ordine del giorno
• Chi siamo
• Cosa abbiamo fatto
• Il nuovo regolamento per i corsi di
dottorato
• Report incontro col ministro Carrozza
• Buone vacanze (brindiamo e
mangiamo)
3. Chi siamo
In
alcuni atenei siamo riusciti a far mettere all'ordine del giorno
diritti pensionistici.
• Dai forza al tuo dottorato, iscriviti all'ADI!
4. Cosa vogliamo
Iscriversi all'ADI significa sostenere concretamente
queste battaglie e impegnarsi a portarle avanti.
5. Cosa abbiamo fatto
