This document provides examples of how to ask for and give directions. It includes common phrases used when asking for directions such as "How do I get to..." and when giving directions it recommends using terms like "go straight", "turn left/right", and "take the first/second road on the left/right". It also includes an exercise where words are missing from directions and the user must fill them in correctly. Finally, it provides a dialogue example of asking for and receiving directions with blanks to fill in using the appropriate directional terms.
Lots of exercises on the topic of giving directions, useful for intermediate, or even beginner level (A2) if students show particular interest for English or the topic. Exercises taken from: follow the link on the last slide of this Presentation.
