Also, i am going to be working on my own so i can choose everything myself, although sounding selfish! I think it will suit me better working this way, and will be more reliable. I think these two work well together because it creates a feeling of anticipation for an audience with clues as to what follows and gangster genres always incorporate a character either like a cop avoiding, good-bad guy than people think are cool and powerful, or a bad guy with swagger and ultimate power which is also seen by the audience I am aiming at as intimidating but also aspirationaland in a certain way heroic. Also I want to add drama in to add a certain tension and emotion. Genre

Its typical audience would be someone interested in mystery twists and panicky dramas. - 6. My opening is going to be a telephone call between a ‘head mafia’, half hidden man who has kidnapped Marcus’ wife, the son of Andrei’s father’s killer seeking a childish and cruel revenge. The innocent Marcus has 24 hours to recover either his wife in the hands of Andrei, or his house with his young child locked inside it. But not only is he racing Andrei, he is racing a time bomb set for 24hours, hidden in his house. He has to choose between the two, a heartbreaking and agonising decision. Or, he must figure a way to recover both. The scene starts with him waking up disorientated, and receiving a call From Andrei which explains his situation. Andrei’s face is hidden from the audience by an over the shoulder shot. Opening
- 7. There will be four characters in the opening; Andrei the revenge seeking kidnapper, Marcus the innocent murderers son, his wife and his child. Andrei will be dressed in a suit, sitting at a desk and possibly smoking to create the gangster look that generates power. The husband wearing a shirt and tie, but a suit to emphasise the superiority of Andrei, better clothes= more power. Also, his clothes should be torn with blood stains to show he has been beaten or drugged. The wife needs to be tied to some sort of object with her hair over her face and a distressed tone to her voice. Andrei voice will be quiet and calm but have authority, but an icy tone which gives the character a classic laid back gangster look. Characters
