My initial character who plays the
runaway bride will have two outfits
as she transforms herself after
escaping into a more casual
identity. The first outfit will consist
of a Asian bridal dress with heavy
jewellery and heels. The second
outfit will be more an everyday
look with tracksuit bottoms,
trainers and an oversized puffa
coat. Costume plays a huge role in
this particular character’s narrative
to show this transformation on this
journey of self discover. The bridal
outfit acts a as a sort of mask that
is concealing her true identity and
forcing her to be someone she’s
not.

3. CHARACTER 2- COSTUME
 My second character who’s narrative is
based in the city also has a very casual
look. Her outfit was intentional in order to
allow her to relate to the target audience.
The look is quite scruffy representing this
isolated, lost theme of the storyline and,
again, consists of joggers, trainers and a
large puffa coat as well as a handbag filled
with personal belongings. This makes it
clear to the audience that she is running
away.
