We were recently called in to some luxury residence that has been undergoing a massive renovation,
to create a proposal for an automated tiki torch strategy to replace the manual-light copper cone tiki
torches which were currently installed. The owner was interested in the safety aspect with the cone-
style tiki torches, since residence was in an area with a substantial amount of wind, as well as the
potential for accidents seemed high.
After conducting a site survey and testing the real-world wind conditions, we decided to propose a
remedy using sleeve-style automated tiki torches, as seen here. These electronic ignition tikis are
best for homeowners who have numerous torches around their home, and prefer to not have to light
them manually nightly.

After each of the low-voltage wiring had been run, along with the transformers had been hooked up
to their ability supply and tied to the residence’s home-automation system , we were only
available in and installed all of the electronic ignition tiki torch modules, and connected the low-
voltage wires towards the heads. The final touch would have been to slip the decorative sleeve
within the automated torch head, and head over for the in-wall touchscreen remote to fireplace them
up.
Three seconds after turning the automated tiki torch button to “ON”, we heard a faint click
