After spending months and thousands of dollars trying to make a Loan Modification company work, Art Fried was ready to throw in the towel. There were just too many obstacles and way too much bad press to overcome. Therefore, Art Fried decided to try the new concept of Forensic Audits

3. Art Fried saw there still was a way to help homeowners and with this approach, the banks could not say no. In fact, it had the potential to really rile up the system and show just how badly people had been hoodwinked when they fell prey to creative loan writing. He decided to give it one more shot and contacted some of the leading Forensic Auditors in the southwest. Once again, he dove into the fray and did his due diligence.

4. As in any legal transaction, there are rules and laws that have to be followed. What the auditors were discovering was that in the heyday of the housing rush, many of these rules and laws were overlooked, ignored or down right broken and now the banks have to deal with the problem. If it goes into the legal system, they cannot just ignore it anymore. So that is the path that Art Fried took.

5. Without going into the details, if during the course of an audit a discrepancy is found, homeowners can file suit against the bank and force them to deal with them. Homeowners bypass the administrators and mitigators and go directly to the legal department where they cannot just become a file on a pile. There are time frames they have to meet. By Law! It was also discovered that the banks were willing to do just about anything to settle, even principle reductions which in reality is the only true way for everyone to get out of this foreclosure mess in the first place.
