Lance Armstrong confessed to Oprah Winfrey that he used performance enhancing drugs during all seven of his Tour de France wins from 1999 to 2005. Armstrong had always denied doping allegations in the past, but told Winfrey that he took banned substances and had blood transfusions, saying it wouldn't have been possible to win without them. Armstrong conceded that his confession was too late for most people, taking full blame and responsibility for his actions, though he claimed at the time they did not feel like cheating.
