6 Ով պատվում է իր հորը, երկար կյանք կունենա. և նա, ով հնազանդ է Տիրոջը,
մխիթարություն կլինի իր մոր համար:
7 Նա, ով վախենում է Տիրոջից, կպատվի իր հորը և կծառայի իր ծնողներին, ինչպես իր
տերերին։
8 Պատվի՛ր քո հորն ու մորը թե՛ խոսքով և թե՛ գործով, որպեսզի նրանցից օրհնություն գա

9 Որովհետև հոր օրհնությունը հաստատում է երեխաների տները. բայց մոր անեծքը
արմատախիլ է անում հիմքերը։
10 Մի՛ փառավորվիր քո հոր անարգանքով. քանզի քո հօր անարգանքը քեզ համար փառք
չէ։
11 Որովհետև մարդու փառքը իր հոր պատվից է. իսկ անարգ մայրը նախատինք է
երեխաների համար։
12 Որդեակս, օգնիր քո հորը իր տարիքում և մի տխրիր նրան, քանի դեռ նա կենդանի է։
13 Եվ եթե նրա միտքը թուլանա, համբերատար եղեք նրա հետ. և մի արհամարհիր նրան,
երբ դու լինես քո ամբողջ ուժով:
14 Որովհետև քո հոր հանգստությունը չի մոռացվի, և մեղքերի փոխարեն այն կավելացվի
քեզ շինելու համար։
15 Քո նեղության օրը այն կհիշվի. քո մեղքերը նույնպես կհալվեն, ինչպես սառույցը
գեղեցիկ տաք եղանակին:
16 Նա, ով լքում է իր հայրը, հայհոյողի պես է. և ով բարկացնում է իր մորը, անիծված է.
