A quick peek at
   Arduino!
What is an Arduino?

Arduino is an open-source microcontroller board
designed to make the process of using electronics in
multidisciplinary projects more accessible.

What’s with the funny name?
It’s an Italian male name!
What the Heck is a Microcontroller?

A microcontroller is small computer on a single
integrated circuit containing a processor core, memory,
and programmable input/output peripherals.

Microcontrollers make it easy to digitally control devices
and processes with greater ease and less space than
straight analog functionality.
An Arduino For Every Job
An Arduino For Every Job
There are many different kinds of Arduinos to meet the
varied needs of artists, designers and hobbiests.

There are big Arduinos (Arduino Mega), small
Arduinos (Arduino Mini), slim Arduinos (Arduino Fio),
Sewable Arduinos (Lilypad Arduino) and standard
Arduinos (Arduino Uno, Leonardo).
