Luffy is the main character from the popular anime One Piece that the author admires. They appreciate Luffy's bravery in always risking his life for his crew and his immense power from the devil fruit he accidentally ate. Luffy's dream is to become the pirate king and he has defeated many powerful foes like pirates, marines, and even emperors to work towards this goal. The author sees Luffy as a role model and greatest fictional friend who inspires them to fight challenges despite obstacles through his courageous example.

1. Luffy
One of my favorite fictional characters is Luffy from a best-selling anime series, One
Piece. I always admire Luffy’s braveness, in the fact that he is always there willing to risk
his life for his colleagues. His power from the devil fruit he accidentally ate was
immeasurable making him tough not just in words, but also with his actions. He is not
afraid of anyone, even dragons and admirals were nothing for him. Luffy has fought
against a number of powerful forces, including pirates, the Marines, Cipher Pol, World
Nobles, and even the Four Emperors of the Grand Line. He either defeated or befriended
seven of the eleven known past or present Warlords prior to their dissolution, and has
invaded the territory of two Emperors. His accomplishments and heritage have caused
him to be labeled as a "Dangerous Future Element"(One Piece wiki,2022), while in the
process gaining a reputation for being "reckless" and "insane". Luffy’s only dream is to
become the pirate king. He is currently leading a powerful crew but various gifts, and
powers from the devil fruit.
Luffy has always been my role model in battling hardships. I always think that I could be
like him, where I can fight bad guys despite my size. I always think of him as my greatest
fictional friend, considering that he always inspires me. I always wish I am Luffy.
