The Parousia - God's sovereign prophetic plan for the nations part 2Robin Schumacher
The document provides an in-depth analysis of Ezekiel 38-39 and the prophecy of the invasion of Gog and Magog against Israel. It examines the biblical text in detail and identifies the players as Russia, Iran, Turkey and others invading a restored and peaceful Israel, likely at the end of the age. God supernaturally destroys the invading armies to show his power and so that all nations will know he is God. The timing of these events indicates they will occur just before or during the tribulation period.
The 1950s saw the rise of science fiction horror films as the post-WW2 audience wanted more entertaining films than just those with human villains. Many of these early sci-fi horror films were low-budget black-and-white B-movies that played before color features. While the genre began to focus more on sci-fi themes involving aliens and invaders from space, traditional monster movies about creatures from Earth remained popular as well.
The document discusses the rare occurrence of a blood moon tetrad, where four total lunar eclipses fall on Jewish feast days. The last blood moon tetrad occurred in 1967-1968 coinciding with Israel's victory in the Six Day War. The upcoming tetrad of 2014-2015 is seen as a sign that something prophetically significant will happen related to Israel. Previous blood moon tetrads have preceded major events for Israel that started as tragedy but ended in victory. The document urges readers to watch for signs and be prepared spiritually for what may occur.
The document summarizes several passages from the Quran that describe human development and formation in the womb. It notes that the Quran correctly describes the formation of the human from a drop of sperm that contains both male and female cells. It also accurately outlines the progression from a sperm and egg to a clot of blood, then a chewed lump of flesh, then the formation of bones covered in flesh. The document references a modern textbook by Professor Keith Moore that corroborates the Quran's descriptions. It also mentions the Quran's reference to development occurring in three veils of darkness within the womb.
The document discusses the folklore surrounding vampires, including their origins in 18th century Eastern Europe and beliefs that they rise from the dead at night to drink human blood. While some people thought vampires were real curses, the author argues they are not real based on scientific evidence like the impossibility of immortality, lack of vampire genes, and inability to physically survive without processing their own food. The best evidence is that vampires likely only exist in human imagination.
This document discusses various perspectives and experiences related to obtaining research funding. It provides examples of funding amounts that two researchers received for their first and current grants. It also outlines different mindsets about securing funding, such as prioritizing ideas, projects, people or partnerships first. Additionally, it lists Swedish funding agencies and describes the writing and application process for securing grants. Overall, the document offers advice and insights into strategies for acquiring research funding.

Using information technology in education can provide both positive benefits and potential pitfalls. Some potential benefits include connecting classroom and field experiences, allowing students to experience new concepts, and enabling new forms of student production and development. However, some common pitfalls include teachers and developers failing to appreciate implementation challenges, prioritizing technology over content, and scaling issues when trying to address large problems. Ongoing trends include increasing use of mobile, ubiquitous, and sensor technologies.

Vem är användaren?
konsumenten
