Anthony Tata spent 28-years in the
military before retiring as a U.S. Army
Brigadier General. During his long and
decorated military career, he served as an
infantryman and paratrooper and led large
and complex military organizations
through the 10th Mountain Division, 101st
Airborne Division, and the 82nd Airborne
Division. He also earned a number of
honors, awards, and decorations
throughout his career, including the
Bronze Star Medal. Anthony Tata was
born in Norfolk, Virginia to two school
teachers. He and his siblings enjoyed a
quiet childhood in Virginia Beach,
Virginia. He was a multi-sport athlete in
high school, playing baseball and
participating in wrestling.

Anthony Tata is a decorated, retired U.S. Army Brigadier General. Through his

the Combat Action Badge, he was awarded the Bronze Star, the Air Assault

many others. He is currently working on writing his sixth fiction novel and is a
