20. The Student of the Month for the month of September:
Mya Desmarais is a Grade 11 student who has started
out the school year being a leader in the Land of Orange.
Mya is a member of the first ever Leadership 30 class. She
put her leadership qualities to the test when she led the
planning of this year's Friday Night Lights. Mya tackled all
problems head on with a can do attitude, and helped
make the event a success.
Mya is also a member of the Robotics, SADD, and
Yearbook clubs, as well as a talented singer in Choral. She
works to the best of her abilities, is an AP Math student,
and is on the 90% honour roll, all while working part time.
You can always find Mya in the halls with a smile on her
face!
