My group and myself decided to explore Chicago's historic Wrigleyville for a school project. This iconic neighborhood boasted several landmarks as well as numerous popular restaurants to try. Its location on the north side of Chicago made it ideal for us to travel too. We were able to discern a sense of the culture in this neighborhood as well as meet several friendly people more then willing to help us capture our pictures.

Since 1992, the world has gotten faster, smaller, and significantly more connected. We’ve seen increases in global literacy, access to water, and life expectancy. We’ve experienced a communication revolution, a technology revolution, and more recently, a series of very powerful people-powered revolutions. The world is by many indicators actually a smarter, safer, and more loving place than it was when back then. It’s hardly the same planet as it was in 1992 – perhaps almost unrecognizable to those who’ve been hibernating in their Doug Drabek jerseys – and we’re better off for it.
Article that appeared in the fall 2015 issue of Wildflower magazine. Discusses the Highway Beautification Act of 1965 and how Lady Bird Johnson and President Johnson worked to improve scenic beauty and native plant conservation along America's roadsides. Interviews with Lady Bird Johnson's former staff.

32. “ I love my job—whether I'm home in the US or abroad. But the main reason I do this is to spread empathy among our readers in the US. I want people here to have an interest and a connection to people from very different cultures, religions and geographies. Traveling abroad as a photojournalist allows me to do this.” -Andrea Bruce Woodall
