AnanacyCanread is a 9-year-old boy who lives in an inner city community with his mother and siblings. When he was 7, he developed eye problems that required treatment he could not fully afford, causing him to miss significant school time. When he returned, he was far behind his class and felt lonely as other children mocked him. He eventually stopped attending school and began getting into fights and trouble with the police.

2. AnancyCanread is 9 years old. He lives in an innercitycommunity with his mother, three brothers and two sisters. When Anancy was 7 years old he developed a problem with his eyes. He had to leave school to get treatment. He couldn’t afford all the treatment at one time so he missed a lot of school. When Anancy did go back to school he was way behind his class. He felt alone and children laughed at him saying he was stupid. Eventually Anancy stopped going to school. He often did bad things and got himself into fights and soon found himself running from the police.
