AWS Community Day CPH - Three problems of Terraform
Analysis
1. For my sound sequence i chose 35 files to layer up. I chose and ambient sound which would play throughout the sequence, and then chose 4 other files. I
decided to make it seem like the sound was coming from inside a zoo, and the 4 files I chose were the sounds of different animals. On track 3 and 4, i made
the decision to split some of the file up as it had gaps in the file where there was no sound and i wanted the sound to be more regular. I also added the
ReaVerb effect to track 1. After I finished Layering and editing the sound, I then highlighted the area in which was sound starts and finishes, so when it came
to rendering, it would only render the selected sound.
This little icon is called the snap
icon. When editing and moving the
sound around, it was best for us to
untick these icons so the sound
could move along the timeline in a
smoother way.
2. We saved the file in our
documents, and named it
so we know what to refer
to.
When rendering the audio out, the sample rate was 44100
rather than 48000. We saved the WAV bit depth as 16 bit
instead of 24 bit too. After pressing Render 1 file, it
rendered very quickly and allowed me to launch the file
afterwards.
This is the media explorer
where all the sound fx are
stored, and where we
choose the sound as there
is lots to choose from.
