This document outlines a project to build an intelligent system using image processing in MATLAB to detect and display the height of a subject in real-time video. The system would use a phone camera to take videos of a single standing subject on the ground in daylight. It would then run coding to extract pixel distance and height data from the video frames and use a curve fitting tool to calculate the actual height based on a pixel height to real height ratio. The processed video would be displayed with the detected subject height. Limitations and potential improvements are noted.
