INTRODUCTION




Amy Winehouse was a talented english
songwriter, singer, arranger and composer and
a five times winner of the Grammy Awards.
She vas very famous because of her deep
voice expression and her mix of genres such
as jazz, blues, R&B and soul.
She was born in 1983 in London and died in
july of 2011.
FIRST YEARS


• Her parents were a taxi driver and a pharmacist.
• After her parents divorced, she lived with her mother and her older
  brother Alex in Southgate.
• At the age of 12, she entered into the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre
  School and was expelled.
• She signed a contract with Simon Fuller’s company and was the female
  vocalist from the National Youth Jazz Orchestra when she was 16 years
  old.
DISCOGRAPHY



• Frank (2003) was her first album and had very good
  reviews. However, she was unsatisfied with this album
  and didn’t recommend it.
• In her second album, Back in Black (2006), she was
  inspired by her relationship with Blake Civil-Fielder. Her
  clothes were darker, she lost weight and she started to
  use wigs.
• Lionness: Hidden Treasures (2011) is a recopilation of
  rare tracks unreleased.
MARRIAGE


• During six months she had a relationship with Blake Civil-Fielder. He
  introduced her to stronger drugs, like crack and heroine. When they broke
  up she composed Back to Black.
• Because her father and her manager where worried about her abuse of
  drugs and alcohol, she tried rehabilitation for 15 minutes.
• In 2007, she reconciled and married with Blake Civil-Fielder.
• He was arrested for assault and then condened to 27 months of jail after
  trying to buy a witness.
• They both divorced in 2009 when Amy committed adultery.
DEATH


  Two months after returning to rehabilitation Amy was found dead by her
bodyguards in her house in 23 september 2011. She had more than five times
                   the legal limit of alcohol in her system.
She was only 27 years old, just like Robert Johnson, Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix,
                Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain.
