 An amusement park sometimes referred to as a funfair
or theme park is a group
of entertainment, attractions, rides, and other events in
a location for the enjoyment of large numbers of people.
 A theme park has landscaping, buildings, and attractions
that are based on one or more specific themes or stories
 The world's oldest amusement park appeared in
the Continent. Bakken (The Hill), north
of Copenhagen, Denmark, opened in 1583.
 Educational theme parks- Some parks use rides and
attractions for educational purposes. Disney was the
first to successfully open a large-scale theme park built
around education .
 Family-owned theme parks-- Some theme parks did
evolve from more traditional amusement park
enterprises, such as Knott's Berry Farm. In the
1920s, Walter Knott and his family sold berries from a
roadside stand, which grew to include a restaurant
serving fried chicken dinners.

Kerala mainly because it is India's first water theme park .
It is situated in Pallikara of Ernakulum district and covers an area of
30 acres.
 It is a state-of-the-art amusement park with a fairy tale atmosphere.
 It is a beautiful park with dainty architecture and houses many musical
fountains, pools, flower gardens, water slides and a Kidde Ride section
for entertaining toddlers.
 The boat ride that goes into a cave filled with mystery is quite popular.
