China has the second largest economy in the world worth $2.26 trillion, behind only the United States, Japan, and Germany. Trade between China and Chile is expected to increase as Chile joins the World Trade Organization this year, according to Chile's vice-minister of foreign affairs. Chile exports wine, fruit, poultry, and dairy products to China and may begin exporting beef pending approval, while China exports toys, cars, computers, clothing, electronics, and cellphones to Chile.
