application that shows how Drupal creators can
easily add Text-to-Speech capabilities to written
content with Amazon Polly.
★ You can generate an audio feed for text-based
content and insert it into an embedded player to
increase the accessibility of your Drupal site.
★ In addition, the plugin allows to translate your text
from one language to another using Amazon
Translate– which is a neural machine translation
service that delivers fast, high-quality, and affordable
language translation.
★ Amazon Translate allows you to localize content –

users, and to easily translate large volumes of text

7. ★ The experience begins when a Drupal site administrator,installs and
configures the plugin using the native Drupal Extend page. Then, you
navigate to the Amazon Polly Settings page and connect the plugin to
your AWS account.
★ If the site is hosted on AWS, you can handle authentication by using
IAM roles. Otherwise, provide the plugin with your AWS credentials
(Access Key & Secret Key), and you’ll be on your way to creating
your first voice-enabled web application.

○ AWS Access Key and AWS Secret Key, AWS Region.
○ Storage:
■ Store audio in Amazon S3, Amazon CloudFront (CDN).
○ Select Content type For which you want to activate Amazon Polly.
○ Player Settings:
■ Player Position, Autoplay
■ Default New Article - Allow Polly to be automatically enabled for All the Content
■ Sample Rate - The sample rate of the audio files that will be generated, in Hz.
■ Voice name.
■ Audio Speed.
○ Bulk Update of the articles to generate audio files.
