Meadow onion is a perennial herb that grows from bulbs and produces a single basal leaf and a flowering stalk. Its small white flowers bloom from May to July and are clustered in an umbel shape at the top of the stalk. The meadow onion is native to North America and prefers moist meadows, pastures, and open woodlands.
