Firefighters think the fire started when a space heater in Sam’s
apartments overheated and caught fire. Sam smelled smoke and
woke up quickly when the fire alarm in his bedroom went off. He
called 911 and the fire trucks came immediately. No one was
hurt, but it took the firefighters almost 2 hours to put out the fire.
