Commence your journey from Rishikesh at 6:00 am, heading towards Pipalkoti. The
drive along the Badrinath Road will be approximately nine hours, passing through
captivating landscapes. En route, witness the sacred confluences of Ganga at
Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, and Nandaprayag. Capture the mesmerizing
views and embrace the spiritual essence as you traverse through this picturesque
route. Stay alert for the breathtaking scenery alongside the wild river, making the

Day 2: Pipalkoti to Ghangaria

Govindghat, a 5 km drive takes you to Pulna, the starting point of the trek. The 9 km uphill trek to
Ghangharia follows a stone-paved path along the Pushpawati River, offering a gradual ascent.
Water is available en route, and a packed lunch is provided. Mule and porter facilities from Pulna
make the trek more convenient. BSNL network is accessible in Ghangaria, and an optional
helicopter service is available from Govind Ghat (weather-dependent, not included). Explore
noteworthy sites like Govinddham Gurduwara and the Valley of Flowers Information Center in
Ghangharia. Stay overnight in a shared guest house.

Day 3: Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers

Flowers at an altitude of 3,500m. The valley stretches for 6-7 km, and the distance
covered depends on trekker preferences and stamina. The journey begins with a
forest check post, featuring the stunning Laxman Waterfall and a wooden bridge
over the rushing Pushpavati River. The trail, paved with stones, includes bridges
and landslide areas. Explore the valley's vibrant native flowers, including Blue
Poppy and Himalayan Rose. The breathtaking scenery includes views of Nilgiri
Parvat, Bhyundar Khal, Rattaban, and Gauri Parvat. The day concludes as you
return to Ghangaria before nightfall, cherishing the beauty of the Valley of Flowers.

Day 4: Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib

Description:
Embark on a 5.5 km trek from Ghangaria to the revered Hemkund Sahib at an
altitude of 4,300m. The trek takes approximately 7 hours, featuring a gradual and
steep ascent on a stone-paved path. Mule ride services are available for those
seeking assistance. Refill water at roadside dhabas and savor a hot lunch at the
Gurudwara langar. Witness rare flowers like Brahma Kamal and Himalayan blue
poppy along the trail. The Gurudwara, situated beside the mirror-like glacial lake,
offers breathtaking reflections of Saptrishi peaks during clear skies. The lake is fed
by the melting glaciers of Hathi Parvat and Saptrishi peaks. Explore the nearby
Laxman temple and, in the afternoon, trek down to Ghangaria for an overnight
stay. The evening is free for rest and relaxation.

Day 5: Ghangaria to Govindghat and Drive to

Note:
GovindGhat to Badrinath is a landslide-prone area during the monsoon. If safety is
compromised due to weather conditions, landslides, or road blockage, Badrinath will
be skipped, and we'll drive directly to Pipalkoti.
After breakfast, descend to Govindghat and then drive to Pipalkoti. Badrinath, 25 km
away, takes 1 hour to reach (optional based on road and weather conditions). Check
into the hotel upon arrival. Overnight stay is arranged in the hotel.

Commence your journey at 6 am from Pipalkoti, reaching Rishikesh by 5 - 6 pm.
Enjoy breakfast and lunch at a roadside inn (charges not included). After your
morning tea/coffee, proceed towards your next destination. It's advisable to book
further travel plans after 7 pm.
