Submitted an academic paper, detailing the links between food insecurity, social inequality and global climate

agency website as well as in promotional/educational brochures.

February Film Series
Organized a series of three documentary films which highlighted current issues in the Recreation, Park and Tourism
Studies Department. These issues are a disconnection with nature and historical figures in the field, nature deficit
disorder relating specifically to children and environmental degradation with an emphasis in biodiversity loss.
Each film showing had a professor as a guest speaker, refreshments and additional educational material.
Faculty advisor to this individual project was Doug Knapp.

Leap Frog Family Fun Hike
As an extra component of a school event planning group project, I facilitated this program individually after
completing the class, including set up, budget, supplies, facilitation, evaluation and tear-down of the event.

Assisted with the facilitation of the children’s arts and craft center, set up and tear down for multiple Halloween
programs, Spring Paint Out programs and other special events.
