Every year the Office of Graduate and Professional Studies facilitates Ask
OGAPS- a Q&A session for graduate students. Starting this fall, Ask
OGAPS will be available as a virtual Q&A Session. Students will have the
opportunity to meet with OGAPS staff through a WebMeeting to discuss
various topics related to their graduate studies. Students can log onto
these sessions from anywhere using their desktop computers, laptop

Ask OGAPS: Q&A Session for Graduate Students
University Libraries Launch myLibrary
Our new app, mylibrary, gathers all of your library-related information in
one place and is easy to use across platforms including mobile devices.
mylibrary is intended to replace My Library Record and includes new
features: 1) A dashboard which provides an overview of our library
information; 2) My Record which includes anything you have checked out;
and 3) Course Reserves information for students. Check out mylibrary.
Masters Student, Brittney Postert
A Texas A&M Agrilife program called the Texas
Learn, Grow, Eat & Go teaches adolescents the
importance of physical activity, and nutrition
choices. The purpose of my research was to look at
this program and determine if the level of
knowledge about, perceptions of, and attitudes
toward nutritional and physical activity
knowledge changed in reference to pretest,
posttest the program. A change was discovered
and the recommendation is to implement a
further part of the program to educated students
on the importance of body image, while
encouraging the benefits to physical activity and
nutrition.

Hispanic/Latino Graduate Student Association Fall
Events/Meetings
HLGSA supports the academic and professional development of graduate
students with an interest in and appreciation for Hispanic/Latino cul-
ture. Students are not required to identify as Hispanic or Latino to take

Aggie Graduate and Professional Community Club
The mission at AGPCC is to connect graduate and professional students
with students outside of their department in an informal, relaxed
environment and to strengthen the community of graduate and
professional students by promoting togetherness of the Graduate Aggie
Family. We strive to do this by hosting bimonthly social events and
quarterly philanthropy events to encourage professional students to
improve social skills and give back to the community. Best of all, events
are completely free and open to everyone including your significant other.
