Better Network Management Through Network ProgrammabilityCisco Canada
As we enter the age of network programmability the data models, protocols, and tools provided by a programmable network can greatly improve and simplify network management tasks. Configuration and operational data can be read and set regardless of the underlying device. Errors are properly reported to ensure reliable delivery of data. Connections are secure and robust. Data is more intelligently extracted. This presentation will explore how tools like NETCONF, YANG, as well as Cisco's Embedded Event Manager, onePK APIs, and embedded Python scripting can radically improve network management applications by offering visibility and provisioning power throughout the network stack. Swine flu, also known as H1N1, is a respiratory virus that causes flu-like symptoms in humans. The current H1N1 strain is contagious between people and has caused a potential global pandemic. Symptoms are similar to seasonal flu but can also include vomiting and diarrhea. The virus spreads through coughs and sneezes or touching contaminated surfaces. Proper hand washing and avoiding contact with sick individuals can help prevent spread of the virus. There is no vaccine yet for H1N1 but antiviral medications can help treat symptoms.

Stress refers to the body's physiological response to perceived threats, whether real or imagined. Stress was first studied by endocrinologist Hans Selye in the 1930s, who defined it as the body's nonspecific response to any demand. Continued exposure to stressors can lead to both mental and physical health issues like anxiety, depression, and physical ailments. It is important to manage stress through positive coping mechanisms like exercise and meditation rather than unhealthy behaviors like smoking or overeating.
The document provides an overview of two key Indian monetary policy terms: the repo rate and statutory liquidity ratio (SLR). The repo rate is the interest rate at which commercial banks borrow funds from the Reserve Bank of India. A reduction in the repo rate will allow banks to borrow funds at a cheaper rate. The SLR is the minimum amount of funds that commercial banks must hold in government approved securities. The SLR is set by the RBI and helps control the expansion of bank credit. The SLR has recently been reduced by 100 basis points to 24% of deposits, freeing up more cash for banks to lend.
Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR) is a bank regulation that sets the minimum reserves each bank must hold from customer deposits and notes. These reserves are meant to satisfy cash withdrawal demands. CRR is used as a monetary policy tool to influence money supply, borrowing, interest rates, and the economy - with higher CRR requirements restricting money supply expansion and lower CRR expanding money supply. For example, with a 10% CRR, a Rs. 100 deposit allows Rs. 90 in loans, expanding the money supply to Rs. 1000, while a 20% CRR only allows Rs. 80 in loans, expanding the money supply to Rs. 500. Therefore, central banks raise CRR to control inflation from excessive spending and lower it
The document contains a collection of quotes and sayings on various topics like success, relationships, life experiences, and decision making. Some of the key messages are:
- Your involvement is critical for success, while with it you can't fail.
- Appreciate what you find along the way rather than focus on what you don't have.
- Learn from mistakes and bad experiences rather than dwell on them.
- Follow your dreams, goals, and passions to have no regrets.
- Experience from wrong decisions is how you gain wisdom to make right decisions.
This document takes the reader on a trip through scales of size from micro to macro, beginning at 1 meter and increasing by factors of 10 up to 10 million light years. It then returns back down to the microscopic scale of atoms and subatomic particles. The key ideas are:
1) Scaling up from 1 meter to 10 million light years provides views of increasing scope from leaves to galaxies.
2) Scaling back down reveals the internal structures of cells, DNA, atoms, and fundamental particles like quarks.
3) The laws of physics remain consistent across all scales, yet much remains unknown, particularly beyond the limits of matter.
This document discusses how small Earth appears when viewed from space and how insignificant human problems seem in the grand scheme of the universe. It notes that from far away, the entire planet with over 7 billion people fits inside a tiny blue point, and all of humanity's achievements, conflicts, and daily struggles occur within this small space. The purpose is to encourage perspective about our place in the vast cosmos and realize that while personal problems may feel overwhelming, they are tiny when considered alongside the immense scale of the Earth and universe.
Are you happy with your current lifestyle and things that happen to you? Chances are that you are not. A lot of us do feel this at some or the other in their lives. So in order to attract things you have to adapt. Check out this slide show that contains mantra for your life.
This document provides advice from the Dalai Lama on living a virtuous life. It suggests following the three R's of respecting oneself, others, and taking responsibility for one's actions. It also advises spending time alone each day, correcting mistakes, and dealing only with the present during disagreements with loved ones. The overall message is to live honorably, be gentle, and approach love and cooking with abandon.
Indian numerals form the basis of the European number systems which are now widely used. However they were not transmitted directly from India to Europe but rather came first to the Arabic/Islamic people and from them to Europe. The story of this transmission is not, however, a simple one. Actually the arabs popularized these numbers. So, the numbers we all use (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.) are known as "arabic" numbers to distinguish them from the "Roman Numerals" (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, etc).
Now an interesting finding. Have you ever thought why ........ 1 means "one", and 2 means "two"?

Assessing the Influence of Transportation on the Tourism Industry in Nigeriagsochially
This research dissertation investigates the complex interplay between transportation and the tourism industry in Nigeria, aiming to unravel critical insights that contribute to the enhancement of the overall tourist experience. The study employs a multi-faceted approach, literature review establishes a robust theoretical framework, incorporating The Service Quality and Satisfaction Theory to guide the research questions and hypotheses.
The methodology involves the distribution of a structured questionnaire, ensuring a representative sample and facilitating a comprehensive analysis of the gathered data.

6. The cable car to the summit, the Téléphérique de l'Aiguille du Midi, was built in 1955 and held the title of the world's highest cable car for about two decades. It still holds the record as the highest vertical ascent cable car in the world, from 1,035 m to 3,842 m. There are two sections: from Chamonix to Plan de l'Aiguille at 2,317 m and then directly, without any support pillar, to the upper station at 3,777 m (the building contains an elevator to the summit). The span of the second section is 2,867 m measured directly, but only 2,500 m measured horizontally. It thus still is the the second longest span width, measured directly. The tramway travels from Chamonix to the top of the Aiguille du Midi – an altitude gain of over 2,800 m – in 20 minutes. An adult ticket from Chamonix (as of December 26, 2009) is €41 return.

25. The Vallée Blanche ski run begins here, and the nearby Cosmiques Refuge is the starting point for one of the routes to the Mont Blanc summit. From the Aiguille another cable car (summer months only), the Vallee Blanche Aerial Tramway crosses the Glacier du Geant to Pointe Helbronner (3,462 m) at the Italian side of the Mont Blanc Massif. Pointe Helbronner is served with a cable car from La Palud, a village near Courmayeur in the Aosta Valley (Italy). The name "Aiguille du Midi" translates literally as "needle of midday". It is so called as the sun sits directly over the peak at noon, when viewed from Chamonix.
