This document outlines a code of ethics for AIF(r) and AIFA(r) Designee professionals. It contains two main sections: obligations to clients and obligations to the community. For clients, it requires employing prudent practices, avoiding conflicts of interest, providing accurate disclosure, determining compensation appropriately, knowing expertise limits, and respecting confidentiality. For the community, it involves promoting ethical behavior, ensuring promotional activities benefit the profession, accepting criticism and correcting errors, using resources responsibly, and continuing professional development.
