This document summarizes a simulation study of the effectiveness of contact tracing in an unequal multi-dimensional hypercubic network where virtual virus infection rates are uneven. The simulation models an 8000-person virtual community with a 3D structure and ability to set different infection rates for groups. Results showed contact tracing significantly reduced peak infected numbers, though was less effective for high infection rate groups. Social structure impacted infection patterns even with the same average infection rate.
